I liked what I heard, and the beginning was nicely balanced. I suggest being more daring with the melodies... for example, there could be a second melody, or a counter melody on top of the original melody... or a b section...

I agree with Developer, the drums are lost in the mix and either everything else could be turned down or the drums turned up. For this kind of music, you could also play with sidechain compression so that the drums really punch through the synths.
I like the simplicity and all the sounds seem to fit well together. With a track like this, there's still some room for miscellaneous sounds and effects to really put it in another dimension.
yeah it's trance but so what. Anyway, my suggestion is be careful with compression on the overall track.. there are some parts that seem unbalanced volume-wise. I have major issues with compression when I put it on the master and so that's why I'm talking about it!
I like your melody and choice in sounds. After the initial synth part, I'd say that the second sound to come in clashes with the mix. I suggest learning how to eq all your sounds so that they complement each other and don't overlap as much.
I agree with adamole that there's too much reverb. Play around with all knobs on your reverb and it will change what you can show.
The one suggestion I have for you is to use and learn how to use eq with all of your sounds (even if you don't think it needs eq, mess with it and then decide). The reason the sounds sound generic is because they aren't tailored by you. The generic bass and other sounds are fine, as long as they are sculpted for the track.
it's not a terrible thing to be deliberately repetitive like a lot of early techno people were. That said, most people today are looking for pretty quick changes and are bored after about 7 seconds of the same thing. Its funny that if you would have called it a loop in the title or made it shorter you would have received much better reviews... but ppl are strange.
